Do you need a photo permit in Atlanta, GA?

Personal shoots

Not every shoot needs a permit; the city lists the activities that do.

Paid & commercial shoots

Filming on public property, street closures, night filming with lights in residential areas, stunts, firearms or effects needs a city permit: a $100 application fee plus $300 a month (non-rush). The Atlanta BeltLine needs permission for commercial shoots or for 2+ cameras, lighting or boom mics.
