Film commissions
Film Jamaica (JAMPRO)
Jamaica's film commission: filming permits and licences for local and foreign productions.
Rules
Film Jamaica (JAMPRO) says a permit is needed for animals, lethal weapons, explosives and pyrotechnics, drones, and underwater or aerial photography. Foreign cast and crew staying in Jamaica more than six months must apply for a work permit; those working six months or less may apply for an exemption (Ministry of Labour and Social Security). Foreign visitors need a passport valid for at least six months beyond arrival, and some nationalities also need a visa (PICA).
