Can you fly a drone to film or photograph in Jamaica?
Professional flights, including aerial photography, need a JCAA Special Aerial Work Permit before each flight: apply in writing with all details of the operation, and do not fly until written permission arrives. Flights in restricted airspace need at least one month's notice.

Hobby flights stay below 400 ft (122 m), within 500 m and in sight, at least 50 m from people, 152 m from crowds and 5,000 m from aerodromes and helipads. No drone may fly at night or in low visibility.
