Can you fly a drone to film or photograph in India?

Under the Drone Rules 2021, drones are registered on the Digital Sky platform for a Unique Identification Number, and pilots need a Remote Pilot Certificate from a DGCA-authorised training organisation, except for nano drones (250 g or less) and micro drones flown non-commercially. No permission is needed to fly in green zones.
